The Trustees of the Sailors' Snug Harbor in the City of New York has an extensive art and archive collection which was gathered over its 200 year history.   

A large portion of the art and artifacts are in the care of the Noble Maritime Collection currently exhibiting Treasures of Sailors' Snug Harbor, an exhibition of art and artifacts from the Collection of the Trustees of the Sailors' Snug Harbor in the City of New York, which will continue through 2015. The archives are on permanent loan to SUNY Maritime's College's Stephen B. Luce Library.  An online viewing portal for some of the collection can be viewed at
